Tails of the Tower is a semester-long capstone project developed in Godot for GAME491: Game Practical Capstone. The game is a pixel-art roguelike that follows a cat protagonist as it battles fantasy-inspired animal enemies across three levels.
The experience is split between two core modes: a tower-based dungeon crawler and a tavern-style visual novel. My work focuses on the tower gameplay, where I design and animate character sprites for both the player and enemies. I create and iterate on pixel art assets to ensure smooth animation, visual clarity, and cohesive style within the game’s combat-driven environment.
